Adams County is designated as a Primary Care, Dental and
Mental Health Professional Shortage Area, as well as a Medically
Underserved Population area. The general service area of
1,365 square miles is home to approximately 3,500 residents.
The Adams County Health Center is a Federally Qualified
Health Center that strives to provide high quality health
care services to residents of Adams County and the surrounding
area regardless of social or economic status.
Services offered by the Adams County Health Center include:

and preventative health care
- Obstetric
care
- Primary
and preventative dental health care
- Psychosocial
rehabilitation & case management
- X-ray
- Laboratory
- Telepharmacy
All
types of patients receive services at the Health Center,
including those with private insurance coverage, Medicare/Medicaid
and those who are underinsured or uninsured. Services are
provided on a sliding fee scale based on household size and
income.
In other words, if you are on a limited income and have
little or no medical insurance, you can still get the help
you need.
The Adams County Health Center is located at 205 North Berkley
